In the ashes of a forgotten city, the first Circle was drawn.
Five stood within it. One stood beyond.
The five swore the Oath to the One Beyond the Door, sealing their blood into the stone.
This was the birth of Pactum Obscura – The Hidden Pact.

Over centuries, the Order has moved through shadows, never seeking glory, only balance. We have observed kings fall, empires burn, oceans rise, and still the Circle remains unbroken.

Every generation, new hands are called to the work – to watch, to guard, and, when the time is right, to open the Gate once more.
Those who enter our ranks must pass the Trials to prove their worth. Ranks are earned, not given. The higher one ascends, the closer one stands to the Gate on the appointed day.

It is said that the Gate will open when the blood of the Bound and the whispers of the Faithful align beneath the right constellation. When that hour comes, the One Beyond will return.

The Oath is forever. The work is eternal.
